The issue of what I don't suppose will come to be called Clarksongate could have been resolved easily by Brown's going to law. He could then have persuaded the court that
a he wasn't one-eyed or
b he wasn't Scottish or
c he wasn't an idiot.
Er.... perhaps his mother was Welsh?
